Pre-Departure Support
Our partner, Fairkonnect has hosted over 800 international students, travelers and volunteers in India on meaningful educational programs. In partnership with Atreya, Fairkonnect will provide each student pre-departure support to ensure you are well prepared to study in India for the semester. Support includes a dedicated team answering questions and providing you training in health, culture, safety, information regarding flights, visas and travel insurance, and virtual orientations with each cohort to aid in the study abroad experience.
Upon Arrival in India
Welcome to India! Our team will arrange your airport transfers and get you situated into your housing. We organize a welcome orientation and lunch for all students and get you situated in the city. The team will help you with your transition into the culture, city, transportation system, campus and classes during your first week.
Evenings and Weekends
Students are encouraged to explore the vast richness of India's history, food, architecture and culture during their free time. Our team will periodically invite students to cultural activities like cooking classes, festivals, concerts and more. On the weekends, our coordinators can help students go on weekend trips to the backwaters, beaches or coffee plantations around the country.
Housing
Fairkonnect organizes housing for students in shared accommodations. You will have access to a kitchen and common area as well as be equidistant from both the campus and downtown Bangalore. Live with other international students that can make your experience of India further enriching by being part of a community. Private rooms are available upon request.

Bangalore or Bengaluru is a cosmopolitan city in South India known for being a tech hub, garden city, and delicious food. International students from all over the world choose to study in Bangalore due to it's word class knowledge centers, English speaking population, proximity to weekend getaways like beaches, coffee plantations and UNESCO heritage sites. International students often fall in love with studying in Bangalore and continue their careers at local companies.
